About the Owners

Mack and Staci Vinton live in Gainesville and have been married since 2003. Mack is originally from Snellville, GA. and has lived in Gainesville for over ten years. Mack settled in the Gainesville area after college and along with owning The Academy, he is a COO of a site development company. Mack is active in numerous civic organizations and serves on the board of several local children’s charities. Staci is originally from Oakwood, GA. She attended school in Hall County and then completed 3 years of teaching Kindergarten at Flowery Branch Elementary. She has her BS from Brenau University and Masters Degree from Piedmont College in Early Childhood Education. While Staci was completing her BS degree, she worked at Brenau in their Child Development Center. This was an influential part of her life that helped her gain a passion for young children and their need for higher standards of learning. Staci is fulfilling her dream by owning and operating The Academy. Staci is an active member of the Gainesville/Hall county Junior League. Staci and Mack now have a daughter of their own. Mackay Ayers Vinton was born on June 1, 2007 and already loves everyone in The Academy Family
