We at The Academy
believe that it is never too early for children to begin their
“learning for life” journey. Our programs are for children ages six
weeks to pre-kindergarten. Before and after school care is provided
for elementary school aged children. Our center is focused on the
education and safety of all children. We have a state of the art
security system with all areas of the building videoed and monitored
by center Administrators. All parents are given identification codes
and door access cards that allow them to check their child in and
out of the center.
Each classroom
is fully equipped to assist the teacher in helping the children
develop to their fullest potential. The Academy follows the Creative
Curriculum program for all classrooms. This curriculum is designed
to stimulate a child’s mind in an easy-to-digest language and
format. Second language, sign language, music, art, and creative
movement are also incorporated into the curriculum. Our Assistant
Director of Education weekly reviews schedules and lesson plans to
assure that they are meeting or exceeding our standards. We also
have a Spanish Curriculum Instructor who works weekly in the
classrooms with the students to reinforce the Spanish that the
classroom teachers are teaching them.
Our director, Staci Vinton,
has used her
background in education and her enthusiastic love for children to
build a wonderful place for your child to grow up. If you
would like more information, call 770.287.7023 or email

In addition to
our regular curriculum, we offer three extra-curricular programs, Playball, Bus Fair,
and Creative Movement and Dance.
Playball focuses
on improving a child’s hand-eye/foot-eye coordination, balance,
basic sporting skills, while also teaching basic sports skills and
life skills in a fun and positive setting. Playball is offered as an
extra-curricular program every other Thursday. For more information
on Playball, please contact Coach Christie at 678.654.7673.
The Bus Fair is
an extra-curricular program that comes to the center every Friday and is available for children ages two through five. This is a
mobile gym bus that builds children's strengths, promotes fitness,
and increases self-esteem and self-confidence. For more information
on the Gym Bus, please contact Ms. Lora at 678.314.2196.
